How to Increase & Decrease Polynomials on a Calculator
- 1). Access the section of your calculator into which you entered the polynomial.
- 2). Re-enter the polynomial beneath the original point where you entered it. Either increase or decrease the numerical coefficient of the polynomial. For instance, if your polynomial is y=x2-2x+8, you can either increase it to y=x2-2x+16 or decrease it to y=x2-2x+5.
- 3). Graph the new polynomial, alongside the original polynomial, to see how it has increased or decreased.
