  The Terraza was the first minivan sold under the Buick brand. This vehicle is built upon the General Motors U platform which it shares with the Chevrolet Uplander, Saturn Relay and Pontiac Montana minivans. The Buick model was the most upscale of the General Motors fleet of minivan offerings and was only produced from the 2005 to 2007 model years.

• Buick offers a more powerful engine offering in their Terraza, as well. The 3.6 L V-6 is only offered as an option on the front-wheel drive CX and CXL. This 3.6 L V-6 generates 240 hp at 6,000 rpm and 240 ft-lb of torque at 4,800 rpm. This engine, like the base model engine, is exclusively mated to a four-speed automatic gearbox.
