Batman is a favorite and beloved character for boys of all ages. Batman, who's alias is Bruce Wayne, is a superhero by DC comics that fights crime as well as a cast of crazy villains. Use aspects of the comic to create a Batman-themed party in your home. Use black liberally and incorporate some of Batman's foes into the decor as well to make it more fun. - It goes without saying that Batman's trademark symbol is the bat. Buy black card stock and cut out bats of different shapes and sizes. Hang them all over the walls. You can get fake rubber bats and hang those around as well. Drape fake spider webs in corners, and attach black and yellow balloons and streamers around them.
- A fun idea would be to have someone draw comic style word balloons and write old timey Batman sayings inside of them. Comic book quotes such as "Pow!" and "Kablam!" are reminiscent of traditional Batman comic books. Photocopy Batman comics and have them blown up. This can be done at a printing or copy shop.
- Pay homage to some of Batman's most noteworthy foes while decorating. Giant yellow question marks made from yellow poster board or construction paper can hang in the hallway or on the walls and pay tribute to the Riddler. Print pictures of the Joker, Penguin, Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy off of the internet and hang those on the walls.
- The best table centerpieces are probably going to be found in your child's bedroom. Set up some Batman figures, the Batmobile and anything else Batman-related in the center of the table. Use a black tablecloth and hang blue, black and yellow streamers as well as balloons from it.
