How to Open an Account Online for Mexico Bank
- 1). Choose your bank. If you have a specific bank in mind, go to that bank's website. If you are not sure which bank to use, search for Mexican banks online, select a bank, and go to that bank's website. - 2). On the bank's website, click "services," or something similar that lists the types of accounts offered. You might need to use Google's translator tool (or any other Internet translator) to translate the site to English if you are not fluent in Spanish.
- 3). Select the type of account you wish to open, such as checking, savings, or investment accounts.
- 4). Click the button that says "open an account" or something similar to open the account online.
- 5). Fill out the application to open the account. Many banks will take your information, then contact you via phone or email to finish the process. While this adds time to the process, it is also more secure than providing personal financial information on a foreign website.
- 6). Complete the application once the bank contacts you, and make your initial deposit to officially open the account. Most banks will let you manage the account online; ask a representative for details in setting up online banking or visit the bank's website and log in to your account(s).
