The best abs exercises are weighted crunches, weighted inclined sit up and just normal weighted sit ups given decreasing amount of output generation.
You can also do the leg raises, use the roman chairs and others but these three are the best.
Weighted crunches: Lie flat on the floor, facing up with your head placed close to the weight stack connected to the pulley.
Go for the attached rope handles and grasp its ends.
Pull until it is tight and rest your hands close to the ears.
Do the crunch by contracting your abs muscles such that your shoulders get lifted up and the weight stack is drawn an inch or two upwards.
Choose a heavy weight that tires you within 10 repetitions.
Try a few sets.
You can also use chain pulley equipment for this.
A chain pulley is basically for the shoulders but you can use it here as well.
In this case sit on the floor with your head beneath the rope handles.
Lock your legs to get the balance.
As before draw the handle close to the ears and do the crunch.
Maintain a heavy weight.
You can also use a barbell for the weight crunches but in that case the effectiveness gets reduced.
