One of the thing that most women look forward too is to be a new mother.
The joy of having a newborn baby in the arms of the mother is indescribable.
However, having said that, new mothers also dread the after-effects of child birth.
Weight gain is one of the most discussed topics for new mothers.
The nine months of pregnancy pile up extra pounds of baby fats rather quickly because: 1.
Habits which were pick up during nine months period.
Mothers have to eat a lot during this period and naturally will gain those extra pounds.
So it follows to lose weight, mother needs to reduce what they eat.
But because it has become a habit, it is very difficult to break the cycle.

When the baby comes into a mother's life, naturally the baby will be main center of attention.
Therefore the baby needs will overrule that of the mother's own need to lose weight.
And as such this leaves very little time for her to plan what is needed to shed the excess weight.

Lack of sleep: When you have a baby, you care more for him and less for yourself.
In the process, you are often unable to sleep soundly! This can make you feel hungry and you may gain weight! 4.
Stress: The post-natal period is one of the most stressful periods in a new mom's life.
Excessive stress can result in quick weight again! Despite all these opposing factors, I can say that losing weight is not too difficult even for a mom! To lose weight, you simply need to burn more calories than what you consume.
Plus you also need to sleep well.
In this article I will tell you about two effective weight loss methods: 1.
Spend thirty minutes daily to exercise or workout.
No matter how busy a person can be, there is always some time that can be used for this 30 minutes workout.
For example, when we do our laundry, instead of waiting for the next wash cycle, we can use the time in between to workout.
Or if you are working at the office, use your lunch break for this purpose.
2.
Reduce food intake: As moms, we are often in the habit of constantly preparing foods for children and then eating with them or bite on their leftovers.
All these things can contribute to weight gain.
The important thing is to break this habit, and then follow a suitable diet plan which you can follow! No one diet can work for everyone, so choose carefully.
If necessary, take a second opinion from your doctor.
But if a new mother is breastfeeding, it is not advisable to diet.
This is because breast milk provides nutrients to the growing baby.
In addition, breastfeeding has also helps a mother to lose weight.
So for new mothers, if you think that to lose weight is impossible, think twice.
