Working From Home Has Its Benefits
How many times have you heard the alarm clock buzz in the
morning and dreamed about working your own schedule?
How many times have you sat in traffic and thought there has to
be a better way?
Well, four years ago I decided to make a living from home. I am
not going to tell you it was easy. I struggled my
first year. Once I got over the hump though, life is all good
now.
If working from home is something you have thought about, this
article was written in hopes of giving you a motivational
"push". There are just so many benefits to working from home. I
could never cover them all in this short article
Off the top of my head, I can think of 5 benefits of working
from home that make my life better.
1) Working my own hours - I can't emphasize how much this helps
me. Some days I start early and other days I start late. It
really depends on my mood and productivity. As I write this
article it's 11pm, I am not normally a night owl but working
from home changes your mindset.
2) Having more time to work - I no longer have to sit in
traffic for 2 hours a day. I no longer need to make small talk
as I walk through the halls. I have found I probably have 2-5
hours more to work now that I don't have to go to the office.
3) Easier to deal with personal errands - when the cable guys
needs to come by or I need to take my car in, I no longer need
to shuffle my schedule around. My schedule is flexible and I can
fit these errands when I desire.
4) Being able to dress comfortably - it may sound silly but I
love throwing on some relaxing clothes. At my old job, I had to
wear a tie and play dress-up. Playing dress-up is such a stiff
and uncomfortable feeling.
5) Saves money - yes, working from home saves you money. I now
have more time to make lunch at home which means no more
expensive lunches or fast food. My car gas and maintenance cost
has obviously gone down. I have been able to scale back my tie
and suit wardrobe which saves me quite a bit. These are just a
few areas my costs have gone down.
Well, I hope this shows you some of the benefits of working

home ideas in detail. A little research though will lead to a
lot of

such as:
- Word processing
- Bookkeeping
- Data entry
- Judgment recovery
