How to Build a Corn Hole
- 1). Mark the spots for cutting on your 2-by-4-inch wood boards with a pencil. You'll need two 21-inch segments and two 48-inch segments.
- 2). Use a miter saw to cut your 2-by-4-inch pieces of wood using your marks as guidance.
- 3). Form a rectangular frame with the 2-by-4 -inch segments by placing the 21-inch segments between the 48-inch segments.
- 4). Nail the frame together, placing two nails in each end of the 48-inch segments to attach them to the 21-inch segments.
- 5). Measure 9 inches starting from the top, center of your plywood and mark with a pencil.
- 6). Place the compass needle on the mark and draw a circle that is 6 inches in diameter
- 7). Use a hole saw to cut out the circle.
- 8). Place the plywood on top of the frame and nail it to the frame.
- 9). Turn the platform over so the plywood is touching the floor.
- 10
Cut another piece of plywood to the length of 24 inches and a height of 14 inches. Cornhole platforms are on an angle and resemble a ramp. This will form the stand. - 11
Line up the piece of plywood so it's even with the top part of the frame, closest to the hole. - 12
Nail the plywood to the outer part of the frame to form the stand. - 13
Paint the wood for a finished look.
