Foundational Scripture – Philippians 2:13

From our beginning, God implanted a divine sense of purpose and aspiration in our hearts and minds. This propensity for us to aspire to something higher in life is there because God Himself writes it upon our hearts. In fact, that is the covenant of promise every believer has with the Lord, that He will imprint His thoughts and His ways upon our innermost thoughts and understanding. Further, He engraves His thoughts and plans upon our hearts indelibly; that longing of the heart to accomplish great things never fades away. {Ecclesiastes 3:11 & Jeremiah 31:33 & Hebrews 8:10}

In this way, God by His Spirit instills inner strength, confidence and power . Besides that, He instills in each of us distinctive ways of working to accomplish things, but it is always He Who inspires and energizes them within us. {Jeremiah 32:39 & 1 Corinthians 12:6}

Because God has given us a hearing heart and an understanding mind, responsive to His touch, we can be confident of fulfilling all our purposes and plans because it is God Who cause us to walk in His ways. We are not self-willed any longer, but God-willed. In other words, God makes it possible to do what we do by His Spirit working within us unique, creative and incomparable accomplishments. {Jeremiah 32:39 & 1 Corinthians 12:6 & Ezekiel 11:19 & Ezekiel 36:26-27 & Isaiah 26:12}

Keeping in mind that it is God's free gift (not of our own strenuous exertion) to inspire and energize us, here are four basic elements to divinely empowered accomplishment:

  Let the Word of God be the rejoicing and strengthening of your heart. Let His promises to give you the future expect become inscribed upon your heart. In every circumstance, God is the help of your countenance. In other words, He puts a smile on your face! {Psalm 4:7 & Psalm 42:11 & Jeremiah 15:16}
  

• 
  Commit all you are, ever hope to be and all you do into God's safe-keeping. Keep in mind in all you do, He is with you, empowering, inspiring and energizing you to accomplish more than you ever thought you could. Blessed you will be when you believe in God, committing all and confidently looking to Him, and that without fear or misgiving! {Psalm 37:4-5 & Proverbs 16:3 & Psalm 55:22 & Psalm 84:12 & 1 Peter 5:7}
  

• 
  Do not fret or have anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance by prayer with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God. He will keep your heart and mind steady in the assurance of His blessing to accomplish all the plans and purposes He inspires. {Philippians 4:4-7}
  

• 
  Give God first place in your heart, learn of Him and His ways and He will give you all things. By learning of Him, you allow Him to conform your thoughts and actions to His. What you do then, will spring forth from absolute conviction engendered by strong and resilient faith. That is, faith expressed as the result of your leaning your personality on God in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom and goodness. {Psalm 37:4-5 & Proverbs 16:3 & Matthew 6:24 & Luke 12:22}
  

God will bring all His promises to pass; you will indeed fulfill the purposes and plans that inspire you. For by His Spirit empowering you, God will accomplish far over all you could every think or hope for, pray or imagine. {Ephesians 3:20}
