Multiple UFO Reports from Pennsylvania
Introduction
Within a 48 hour period, there were no fewer than five reports of unidentified flying objects reported over the state of Pennsylvania on April 12 -13.
As you may know, Pennsylvania is best known for the Kecksburg Crash in 1965. But, that's not all. Also see Pennsylvani Wave of 2008, and 2010 Report of UFOs.
Bangor
In the city of Bangor, on 04-13-12, a man was watching TV when he saw a bright, green object streak across the sky.
He was looking toward the southeast at the time. Whatever the object was, it did not have a tail like a comet. The object went toward the ground at an angle.
He had seen this same anomaly in January, except on that date, the object shot straight down. As the April object moved across the sky, he raced outside to get the best view he could. A few minutes later, he saw several more objects, but these were all white in color.
Although the objects had a similar look, they were moving independently of each other, in odd patterns. He was accustomed to watching jets fly at night, but these objects moved much faster than any planes he had seen before. He had seen a small plane flying basically the same pattern as the green-colored object, and is certain the pilot had seen it.
Perkasie
In Perkasie on 04-12-12, at about 8:00 PM, a lady was enjoying a night view of the sky facing west, when her boyfriend saw something unusual; a white, bullet-shaped object. He immediately urged his girlfriend to watch the object also.
She soon located the object, which appeared to her as a white streak which quickly changed into a blue-green color. The object appeared to be headed for the ground in an arc pattern. To the witnesses' surprise, the UFO split into two objects, and then completely disappeared before it made it to the earth.
Mercer
In the city of Mercer, on 04-12-12, a man was standing outside watching the stars, when suddenly from nowhere there appeared an object which was moving across the sky. The object appeared to be round and very brightly lit. The object's changing brightness made it appear to get larger, then smaller.
Still contemplating his sighting, the next night he went back outside. Again, the object, or another just like it, could be seen. The only difference was that this UFO never brightened or dimmed, it kept the same amount of luminance as it crossed the night sky.
A plane could also be seen on both nights during the appearance of the unknown objects, and he thinks it possible that the pilot may have seen the objects. He called the two sightings, "creepy as hell."
Horsham
Also on the 12th, a man in Horsham saw a disc-shaped object which appeared to be hovering over his neighborhood. The object was much too low in the sky to be any type of conventional flying vehicle, and no sound could be heard coming from the object.
The object moved a short distance before totally disappearing. At times, the UFO would glow a neon-green color with white lights around the structure. This occurred at about 8:00 PM. He could think of no possible flying craft that could account for what he saw.
Volant
In the city of Volant, on April 12, our witness was traveling on Rt. 168 North driving toward Hermitage. His mother was a passenger in the vehicle. As they drove along, suddenly his attention was drawn to a quick flash of light to this right.
He looked up and saw a huge, ring-shaped object of a blue-white color. The object would brighten and then dim as he watched it for a few moments. His mother could not find the object from her position. Suddenly, the car's headlights began to flicker.
Then both headlights went out completely. After the object had gone, the lights functioned properly. He urges anyone who saw the object to report it to validate what he saw. He feels certain that he was not the only person to see the ring-shaped object.
