How to Customize Adidas Soccer Cleats
- 1). Visit an Adidas Sport Performance Store or outlet to try on cleats; a store locator at ShopAdidas.com lists Adidas' locations, which include more than 100 as of January 2011.
- 2). Try on male- and female-specific models and, if necessary, different shoes for your left and right feet, which may have different sizes and widths. Record your size and width information for each foot. Adidas models come in half sizes from 5 to 14.5 in "wide" and sometimes "extra wide" versions.
- 3). Customize a blank shoe online at MiAdidas.com; you'll have a choice of indoor and outdoor models, 12 for men and 12 for women.
- 4). Enter your sex and size and width settings. Select a base color and an accent color for the stripes and the stitching. Select colors for the eyestay, the tongue, the insert panel at the top of the tongue, and the laces from the 10 or more hues provided. Choose a color for the collar, the edge of the shoe ringing your socks.
- 5). Fill in your name or that of your team, or a motto or remembrance, for custom embroidery, and the color of stitching. If you want, add a logo as well from a choice of more than 60 national flags or elite team logos.
- 6). Double-check your selections after clicking "Finish." Change any of your size and decoration selections by clicking "Edit" before adding the custom shoes to your shopping cart.
