Set a Spooky Monster Scene

  Decorate your party space with spooky monster-themed props and decor, such as fake eyeballs, monster hands and cobwebs. Dry ice and a fog machine are great for creating eerie effects.
  
  
• 2). Replace light bulbs with green or blue bulbs for a spooky monster atmosphere.
  
  
• 3). Complete the scene with spooky music and sounds. A suggested monster playlist:

  Have guests come in costume as their favorite monster, such as Godzilla, Dracula or Frankenstein. Have a costume contest and give out prizes.
  
  
• 2). Hand out some to-die-for party favors like plastic fangs, fake eyeballs and neon glow necklaces.
  
  
• 3). Rent some classic monster movies like "The Mummy" and "The Invisible Man." If the guests are children, choose movies appropriate to their age group, such as "Monsters, Inc." (Children may also like to play a game of freeze tag called "Frozen Zombies.")
  
  
• 4). Serve a variety of gooey, gory foods like sandwiches in the shape of monster fingers, graveyard cake with gummy worms, and monster hands (clear plastic gloves filled with popcorn and tied with a ribbon). For adults, carry out the monster theme with cocktails such as Bloody Marys and Zombies.
