How to Make a Bridal Tea Shower

  • 1). Choose a location for your bridal tea party. If it's just a small group, the host can have it at her home. For larger groups a private room at a restaurant or catering facility may be needed.

  • 2). Create a list of guests and send an invitation to each guest. Discuss the list with the bride beforehand to help narrow it down to only those she would like to have attend.

  • 3). Purchase and prepare the teas for the bridal tea shower. Offer a variety of teas such as Earl Grey tea, fruit-flavored teas, spiced teas and green tea. Label the pots for each tea, and allow the guests to select their own teas.

  • 4). Provide food to go along with the teas at the bridal tea shower. Customize the cookies in the shape of a wedding ring or with the bride's name on them for the event. Other sweets such as small cakes or pastries will complement the teas as well.

  • 5). Help the bride by writing down the gifts she receives and which of her friends purchased the gift. Give her this list after the bridal tea shower to use when she is writing her thank you notes.
