Simple Solution to Flea-Problem!
(Get rid of this problem without chemicals or pesticides) Read this unique and controversial approach to solve a flea-problem by using yourself as the bait.
Yes, you heard right! It is like using yourself as a flea-magnet, without using any of those damaging pesticides, who most of time poison every thing else, but not killing the fleas.
OK, before you claim that this is an absolute crazy idea, I should explain how I got that flea-problem on first place and what approach I toke trying to solve it.
When my daughter moved away in Summer 1996 with my ex-wife, she left me her cat behind.
Yes, A house-cat! What a generous gift.
Since I am living on a farm, I was thinking; Poor cat, why not let for her an opening on the window to go outside and come back inside if she wanted to? Very Smart, Hey? After a couple of weeks it started to scratch me a little.
I did not think much of it at first, since I am working on the farm, I have to work a lot with animals and all kinds of dusty environments.
After an other few days it got worse.
Till one day, I came half-naked out of the shower, and believe it or not, a grey cloud of something jumped of the living-room-floor right on my chest.
Then I knew! "Houston I think I have a problem!" So, first thing, from now on the cat had to stay outside for good.
It was not so bad since it was summertime anyway.
Myself, I was running to the store to get me some products against fleas and washed my bed-sheets and clothes.
But by cleaning an unsystematic way it did not solve my problem.
Those products against fleas did not help neither.
Alarmed I went see my veterinary to get stronger products and maybe some advice.
She told me that those fleas have very funny behaviours.
Fleas need a warm and dry place.
Fleas need to suck blood to live.
Fleas need a warm and dry fabric to lay their eggs in.
But on the other side; Fleas do not survive water.
Their eggs can not hatch without a heat-source, but may survive water.
At least now I had an Idea how to attack that Infestation.
I went home put on one of my jogging-suits (top and pants), a pair of socks, and sat down on my couch to watch television.
After about an hour it was scratching so much, that I could not take it any more.
So I put everything, including the socks in the washer and put on the 2nd pair and sat down again to watch TV.
This time I was able to stay already 2 hours before I decided to give up.
Next day I repeated the whole process.
The same method was also effective for Bed-time.
In a matter of 2 days I was hardly bothered by these pests any more, After 1 week the whole matter was forgotten for good, without throwing out my couch or my mattress, or any of my clothes.
I had no problems with fleas ever since.
Later on I realized, that by using this method, I was not only taking care of the fleas, but also the new and the existing eggs.
Since by using my body-heat, I did not only attract the fleas, but also helped hatching the eggs who became fleas, which is the best way to kill them all in the washer for good.
So, my prescription for such a problem is: You do not need any chemicals or pesticides at all.
All you need is a couple of woolly but easy to wash clothing, like jogging-suits or pyjamas, (which are still good afterwards), to be able to change and wash often.
You need also a little endurance and patience in order to last through.
Good Luck; Karl Experienced by Karl Bott.
