What is the most photographed subject ever? People! There are more people pictures than any other subject in photography.
But it boils down to not a lot of people knowing how to take good people shots.
This article will get to the bottom of how to photograph people.
The simple fact of the matter is this: too many people just take awful people shots.
Simple tips can really help when taking photographs with people in it.
When most people take shots of people, they flat out place the person dead center.
This is uninteresting and boring.
Unless you know that person or that person is you, you are going to think that shot is boring and ugly.
The key to great looking portrait shots is two things: how you pose your models and how you light them.
Posing your models is not hard.
Trouble is a lot of people go about it the wrong way.
First things first, our bodies are just nothing but curves and lines.
When you start looking at people in this way, you'll start posing them much better.
You could have legs be used to point to their face.
Their shoulders could be used to add more lines.
Lighting is also a must for great people shots.
I could go on and on with lighting tips.
But most people don't have the equipment and such for studio lighting.
So, a simple solution is to use the suns lighting.
Using reflectors made of foil and diffusers from blankets is all you need for great lighting of people.
