Homemade Science Birthday Invites
- 1). Write the details of the birthday party to resemble a science experiment. Include the purpose, which is the birthday party experiment, testing date and time, lab location. Write the hypothesis as an oozing good time or explosion of fun. List supplies that guest need to bring, for example; old clothes, a change of clothes or a swimsuit. Let the party guest know if the lab cafeteria will be serving dinner or just cake and ice cream.
- 2). Print the details on a sheet of paper along with an image of a mad scientist, test tubes or a photo of Albert Einstein sticking his tongue out, which can be found online. Use regular white or colored copy paper rather than cardstock.
- 3). Roll the invitations into a tight cylinder. Tie with a ribbon or use a rubber band to hold in place. Slip the invitation into a plastic test tube. Craft supply stores sell test tubes with screw-on lids or rubber corks.
- 4). Place the test tube into a padded envelope if you are sending it through the mail. Include a bag of Pop Rocks in the envelope as a treat.
