    • 1). Tighten the small valve knob under your sink where the water line connects for the Profile Arctica. This halts water flowing to the GE appliance so you can safely disconnect the ice maker.

    • 2). Unplug the GE power cord and slide the appliance away from the wall to reach the water line connection on the back of the freezer side.

    • 3). Twist the metal ring on the end of the water line to the left with pliers to disconnect. Lower the water line into a bucket on the floor to catch water.

    • 4). Open the freezer door on the left side of the GE Profile Arctica to move stored items away from the ice maker in the upper left corner.

    • 5). Slide out and remove the ice bin.

    • 6). Extract the screws below the ice maker where they are attached to the support bar on the left wall inside the appliance using the screwdriver.

    • 7). Push up and pull forward on the ice maker to free the unit from the support bar.

    • 8). Unplug the power plug from the socket on the back freezer wall to disconnect the ice maker's wiring harness. Do not pull directly on the wires. Disconnect by pulling on the plug only.

    • 9). Remove the entire unit from the inside of the GE Profile Arctica and close the freezer door.
