Shoei RF-1000 Motorcycle Helmet Review
Nobody would ever classify a Shoei helmet with cheap motorcycle helmets but that doesn't mean you don't care about getting a good value for your dollar.
The good news about a Shoei helmet is you know you will never be short on the quality piece.
Shoei helmets are some of the nicest in the business and better than another brand that many think can walk on water.
I recently had a chance to road test a Shoei RF-1000 motorcycle helmet and this is what I found.
You will have to decide for yourself whether the Shoei is the right helmet for you.
Shoei uses their highly regarded Advanced Integrated Matrix construction process which produces a very strong yet lightweight outer shell to the helmet.
The reasoning is obvious but like any good helmet, they want to protect your skull in the event of an accident.
The Shoei helmets are wind tunnel tested and as such they are very angular and designed to cut the wind well.
One quick road test and you can immediately tell this is a very comfortable motorcycle helmet that has few flaws and works well.
Another nice feature that I noticed is that the Shoei RF-1000 is a very comfortable helmet and that is good, because a comfortable helmet is a helmet that you will wear.
The Shoei sports removable cheek pads and chin-strap covers that are available in different sizes so you can customize the fit to your particular needs or likes.
The liner is designed keep the air flowing across your head from the vents in the front and then out the rear exhaust ports.
The more air flow the better in my opinion and the Shoei RF1000 did not disappoint.
In conclusion, you won't go wrong with Shoei motorcycle helmets.
I have owned a number of them over the years and really I have never been disappointed and I doubt you will be either.
The RF-1000 is high on my list as it is a GREAT all around helmet that fits well and is very comfortable and of course attractive to the eye.
You can also feel better that it is both DOT and Snell certified, another plus.
