The 716 Billion Dollar Lie
I have to say it is unspeakable how easy lies roll off of the tongue of some people. The GOP is touting this 716 Billion Dollar lie in unison. They claim that the president €stole€ this money from Medicare to pay for €Obamacare.€ This couldn't be further from the truth. Savings and waste from Medicare(which affected doctors and hospitals, not recipients) was taken out and reinvested back into the program to lower costs. It is seriously disconcerting and pathetic that these people can repeat this blatant lie with a straight face. I mean, there is absolutely no way that they don't know the truth but Mitt Romney and the GOP are willing to say and do anything to win the election.
They are obviously executing the €I'm going to take my biggest weakness and deflect it on you.€ Once people find out the facts on this issue, I can't see how they can believe anything that comes out of Mitt Romney's mouth. I also can't see how any normal person with a brain can't see that he is hiding something. He switches sides on everything, he won't release any tax returns, he repeats blatant lies with no remorse. Seriously, how can this man be trusted to be the leader of the free world but has the audacity and arrogance to say that you don't need to see any of my information. Just fall in line and vote for me because your life is bad and its Obama's fault. This type of rhetoric and ridiculousness has to cause some concern to Republicans about his core and leadership. How can you trust someone like this to lead the country? Do you really think he is looking out for you? I don't think its too hard to find the answer to that.
Does Mitt Care about the Middle Class??
Let's talk about the Ryan Plan briefly. There is no disputing that his plan would essentially end Medicare by turning it into a voucher system. Even if it doesn't affect current seniors on the system, why is it ok to drastically cut it for future recipients? The income of the middle class has been declining for decades and the income of the top 1% has increased exponentially so how is this helping anyone but the richest Americans in this country? Imagine the outcome of the likely continued decrease in wages and the next generation having to pay an addition 6,000 more for these expenses. There would be many millions of people not being able to afford the health care that they need. Bottom line, this plan in my opinion is cold and heartless!
I really think this election couldn't be bigger. The outcome of this election will have definitely have an impact on your future. My advice to you is no matter who you vote for, please register and get out there and vote like your life depends on it. Because you know what, it actually does.
