How to Copy Cassettes on a Dual-Deck Pioneer
- 1). Press the "Eject" button near the lower-left corner of the right cassette deck to open it. Load the blank cassette into this deck.
- 2). Adjust the "REV" switch to indicate whether you want to record one side or both sides of the tape. If you want to record one side, set the switch to the position that has an upper and a lower arrow. If you want to record both sides, set the switch to the position that has one curved line with an arrow.
- 3). Press the "Recording" button on the left side of the right tape deck. This button is marked with a circle.
- 4). Press the "Eject" button located near the bottom-right corner of the left cassette deck to open this deck. Load the cassette that you're going to record from into this deck. The side of the cassette from which you are recording should be facing out. For instance, if you are recording side A, load the tape so that side A is facing you.
- 5). Rewind or fast-forward the cassette from which you are recording if necessary to cue up a song you want to record.
- 6). Press a "Playback" button for the left cassette deck to begin recording. If you press the playback button with an arrow pointing to the right, you can record both sides. If you only want to record one side, press the playback button with the arrow facing to the left.
- 7). Press the "Stop" button on the left cassette deck to stop recording. This button has a square on it. If you only want to temporarily stop the recording process, press the "Pause" button, which has two vertical parallel lines on it.
