How to Remove W32.Sinnaka

    • 1). Navigate your web browser to the Resources link for the AVG Anti-Virus utility. Download and then install the utility if your computer does not already have an antivirus program installed.

    • 2). Exit your web browser and then restart your computer. Repeatedly tap the "F8" key at the top of your keyboard as soon as the logo of your computer's manufacturer pops up on the screen.

      The "Safe Mode" menu

      Scroll down through the new menu that shows up and highlight the link labeled "Safe Mode." Press the "Enter" key to load up your system with the Safe Mode feature enabled.

      Accessing the "System Protection" window

      Bring up the Start menu and then access the Control Panel. Double-click the "System" icon. Click on the button at the left side of the System window labeled "System Protection."

    • 5). Scroll down to the heading labeled as "Automatic Restore Points." Turn off the "System Restore" option by removing the checkmark from each of the check boxes inside the heading. Click the "OK" button.

      Updating your antivirus utility

      Open your antivirus utility. Click on the program's "Update" button and then click on "Download." Click on "Scan Entire Computer" once the update process has completely finished.

      The "Search" feature

      Choose the "Remove Selected Problems" option when the scan has finished. Close down the antivirus utility and then return to the Start menu. Open up the Search feature.

      Opening up the registry editor

      Search for the word "Regedit" and then click on the registry editor's icon when it appears in the search results. Open the registry editor's search area by tapping the "Ctrl" and "F" keys together.

    • 9). Type "ANSMTP.OBJ.1" into the search box. Right-click on the registry entry and then click on "Delete." Search for and delete the remaining W32.Sinnaka registry entries named "ANSMTP.OBJ," "ANSMTP.MassSender.1," "ANSMTP.MassSender," "253664FB-EDFC-4AC6-BD69-B322F466AEED," "887A577B-406B-48FF-80CB-70752BFCD7B4," "DE6317F7-6EF0-45C2-88D1-8E09415817F1," "68B8DCDB-EFA4-420A-BB8A-71B9892A2063," "1E98666F-6260-42C9-B846-32B20fDEFE7B," "A5F6C90C-ABE4-4C57-A421-8C5A202AA9F8" and then "B13281CF-8778-4C98-AE23-ABBA4637A33D."

      Close the registry editor's window. Restart your computer to completely remove the W32.Sinnaka program.
