Go to home depot or lowes and buy a home sprayer and a bottle of malathion. Malathion is a safe pesticide for home use and it is really powerful. - 2). Unpack your sprayer and get your water hose out. You can mix up the malathion by putting about 1/10 mixture of malathion to water. So put 1 part malathion for 10 parts water. Fill the home sprayer with plenty of water and a stronger mix will only yield slightly better results.

You can also spray around windows or cracks where you think ants may enter. Keep the dogs or cats away from the area sprayed for about two hours after spraying. Just to be safe.
