The Walking Dead Season 4
The Walking Dead is a new television show hit series on AMC about the struggles of life and civilization in a world that has crumpled due to a post-apocalyptic event.
The walking dead season 4 is based off of Robert Kirkman's comic book, The Walking Dead. Rick (played by Andrew Lincoln) awakens in a hospital after being shot in the head. He has been in a comma for a long period of time and notices that everything around him has changed.
Still disoriented from waking up in a hospital filled with no one, Rick comes to the realization that the world has changed and that everyone in it could be dead. After this period of loss, Rick fights to survive and find his family.
The Walking Dead Season 4 continues through the post-apocalypse era in which the living dead walk the earth.
The world of "The Walking Dead Season 4" is a planet that is far less populated than before, in the walking dead season 3, we lost Sarah Wayne Callies (Lori), IronE Singleton (T-Dog), Michael Rooker (Merle), Dallas Roberts (Milton) and, Laurie Holden (Andrea) in the finale.
Some re-occurring actors and actresses we shall come to know as guest stars on the walking dead are Melissa Ponzio (Karen), a sole survivor of the Governor's brutal attack on his own army of none fighters. In addition, we shall see the return of Coleman and Martin-Green, whom play siblings who were the important part of Rick's (Andrew Lincoln) fight against the Governor. Lastly, Kinney, the youngest daughter to Herschel, on the plantation will re-occur as that nurturing figure. She is an important figure in the show because when all hope is lost, she continues to carry that beam of light Dale had been carrying, that sense of responsibility and human kindness.
The Walking Dead Season 4 opens up with Michonne, a Katana wielding badass, on horseback coming back to the prison, which they call home. She is attacked by two walkers as she quickly tries to enter the premises. The camera pans to Carl and Maggie as they quickly jump onto the situation. The camera pans back to michonne, who struggles with the walkers. It is here where it ends and everyone is left. Does Robert Kirkman have the ability and balls to kill off Michonne after being saved by Daryl's brother, Merle? Would this be a sick joke that Rober Kirkman would pull on the viewers? Damn straight he would. It would create a ton of buzz, but will it happen in the first episode? I don't believe so.
Some other things to note and changes made this season. We see a change in the father/son relationship and how they need to rebuild each other, a change in power, and a new stronger threat that is killing and feeding the walkers.
We will find out October 13, 2013 as the new installment to the walking dead will air 9PM ET.
