How to Calculate the Ratio of a Pentagram
- 1). Measure the distance from the left point to the right point with a ruler. Label this measurement "A." Measure the distance from the left point to where the right side of the top triangle touches the top of the right triangle. Label this measurement "B." Divide "A" by "B" to get the Golden Ratio of these two measurements.
- 2). Use a ruler to measure the distance from the left point to the place where the left side of the top triangle touches the top of the left triangle. Label this distance "C." Divide "B" by "C" to obtain the Golden Ratio of B to C.
- 3). Measure the distance from the left bottom corner of the top triangle to the bottom right corner of the top triangle with a ruler. Label this distance "D." Divide "C" by "D" to obtain the Golden Ratio of C to D.
- 4). Repeat this process of measuring and dividing for any other sides of the pentagram to calculate the Golden Ratio.
