How to Use Peel Away 7 to Remove Paint From Cabinets
- 1). Test an inconspicuous area first to establish the appropriate time to leave Peel Away 7 on for your conditions. Latex and oil-based paints require different dwell times, so testing will ensure the rest of the peeling goes smoothly.
- 2). Apply Peel Away 7 paste about one-sixteenth to one-eighth of an inch thick onto the cabinet with a paint brush.
- 3). Leave on for the required time you determined in step 1.
- 4). Remove the paste and paint with a putty knife.
- 5). Wash the cabinet surface to remove residue with a sponge or rag. Use a scrub brush prior to washing down if necessary.
