Android: The New Phenomenon Of Mobile Telephony
One of the most important things of this operating system is the amount of available applications that extend to unlimited, since it is linked to the existence of free programming tools. Therefore it is said that it is a free operating system. This makes it very popular among manufacturers and developers, as the costs to launch a cell or an application with android is very low. Today, anyone can download the source code, inspect, compile, and even change it. This gives security to users, because something that is open source can detect faults faster. And also manufacturers, they can better tailor the operating system for their smartphones.
In February last year Google announced version 3.0 of Android, codenamed call Honeycomb, which was optimized for tablets instead of mobile phones. So Android has transcended beyond mobile phones to larger devices. That is why probably we got used to it.For example WiFi Display is a new standard for connecting monitors or televisions to our mobile devices via WiFi.
Many analysts predict that this new feature will be present in virtually all electronic devices in 2014. Meanwhile, Qualcomm takes a step forward and ensures that Android devices will be available this summer. According to the company, all phone or tablet with a Snapdragon processor will support WiFi Display S4. The devices that are released with version 4.0 of Android are already able to connect through this system, but the screens are still in testing phase.
The WiFi standard display has to be approved under rules of WiFi Alliance in the second quarter of the year that can be built on platforms that use the Snapdragon S4.
Once this occurs, the system operation is simple, as those compatible devices are automatically recognized, establishing a secure connection between them. Those monitors that do not support directly the function may benefit from it thanks to adapters that are connected via the HDMI port. Ultimately I think the future is getting a little closer, and we want to bring the Internet to television no matter what.
