Acne Cleansers - A Guide to Clear Skin

103 24
There are many cleansers available online and offline, many are expensive and promise an end to your acne.
But do they really work, or are they REALLY just a rip off? I used to have acne for many years and tried lots of different treatments.
This included many cleansers...
When I first got acne my doctor prescribed benzoyl peroxide.
This dried my skin out and did little to clear my pimples.
Next I tried about half a dozen over-the-counter cleansers, most of which contained salicylic acid (for example Clearasil.
) Unfortunately my acne was quite severe and didn't respond to these fairly cheap cleansers.
So I looked online for some more specialist acne cleansers, and found plenty! But these were often very expensive and apparently took a few months to work.
I actually tried some of these, like proactive and murad, but without success...
My advice is to avoid expensive cleansers and go for the root cause of acne - food.
Some food causes acne and needs to be avoided for clear skin.
For example, when I cut out vegetable oil (found in some junk food and sauces), my acne cleared up DRAMATICALLY in just a few days.
I recommend you do the same.
There are other foods to avoid, and some foods you should incorporate into your diet as well.
All of this is very simple and is free compared to buying expensive cleansers and other topical applications that probably won't work anyway.
