Make a column heading on the paper for each brand you are considering. Make a row for each aspect of the toothbrush that is important to you. For example, one of your rows might be labeled "Price."

Develop a rating system. You might decide to use zero, half star or whole star.

Look at the ultrasonic toothbrush and check to see how large or small the head of the toothbrush is. Rate the size of the toothbrush head by giving it a zero, a half star or a whole star.

Grip the handle of the toothbrush to determine how heavy the toothbrush is and how comfortable it is to hold. Rate the weight and comfort of the ultrasonic toothbrush by giving it either a zero, a half star or a whole star.

Check to see what features the ultrasonic toothbrush has and add another zero, half star or a whole star to its total score. Look for features that appeal to you, such as a rechargeable base, an interval timer and a variety of brushing speeds.

Rate the cost of the ultrasonic toothbrush by comparing it with other ultrasonic toothbrushes that have some of the same features. Add another zero, half star or whole star to its total score.

Check to see if the toothbrush comes with a manufacturer's warranty and how long the warranty is for. Add an additional zero, half star or whole-star to the ultrasonic toothbrush’s score.
