Even though contract manufacturing companies were given high precedence and promoted as being the main event of this year's GuyExpo show, it seems as though the food and beverage companies dominated the event.
Efforts to push for a higher manufacturing-related turnout were vast.
The entire main pavilion area was set aside for any participants belonging to manufacturing business category.
In addition, the GuyExpo committee heavily encouraged the participation of local and smaller manufacturers.
They wanted to provide local and small-scale manufacturers with a chance for exposure and an opportunity to promote their products.
Moreover, by participating in the expo, small-scale businesses would have the chance to make new contacts, network, consult, sell, and connect with other companies from all around the world.
Such smaller businesses who took part in this year's GuyExpo indeed had multiple opportunities to show off their abilities, expertise, innovation, and creative work.
Despite efforts and a heavy push for a big turnout among contract manufacturing participants, of the 300 booths at this year's expo, only around 25 featured local manufacturer's products.
Of the entire class of manufacturing participants (both local and national companies), it was the furniture industry who dominated the category.
However, when examining the entire expo as a whole, it was hands down the food and beverage companies who ran the place.
There were food and beverage booths and stalls located all throughout the facility.
This was good for the many shoppers and customers of the expo, as there was plenty of food and drinks to satisfy their needs.
Expo shoppers were introduced to a wide variety of both new and classic meals of which they were able to sample, buy, and order.
Helping to facilitate the success of the many food and beverage companies, the food area was expanded and put together in a more organized and easy to maneuver way.
The types of available snacks and cuisines were endless.
Besides food and beverage and contract manufacturing booths, expo shoppers were introduced to a wide variety of other booths as well.
Such booth categories included arts and crafts, fashion, tourism, technology, food processing, horticulture, engineering, and photography.
