Clinton the Best Option for Democratic Party

One of the most important upcoming elections for the United States is the 2016 presidential election. Although it does not appear that anyone is campaigning right now, there are plenty of reasons to speculate on a potential candidate's eligibility, viability, and desire. There are no clear frontrunners for the 2016 nomination in either party, and it might seem like it's too soon for any prognostication. But, there are some clear candidates who have placed their bids before and will likely do it again, especially in the Democratic Party. One of those potential candidates is Hillary Clinton€"someone who has run before and who has quite a political pedigree.
Clinton, of course, ran in the Democratic primaries for the 2008 election, eventually losing out to now president Barack Obama. Her campaign was a strong one, but it wasn't quite good enough to beat out one of the most charismatic presidential candidates of our time. Even so, her tooth and nail run in the Democratic primary brought her to national attention in much the same way that John McCain and Sarah Palin were thrust into the spotlight. Although Clinton did not receive the same kind of notoriety during that election year, she proved that she could be a viable candidate for the Democratic Party. After all, she came in a close second to the eventual president, and there's plenty of indication that, if she had won the 2008 primary, she would be in office as we speak.
When the dust settled and President Obama was put into his position to create a cabinet, he chose Hillary Clinton for the nation's top diplomatic post of Secretary of State. That clearly showed a great deal of confidence, especially for someone who had been a fierce rival for much of the previous year. Clinton served in that capacity as Secretary of State from 2009 until her resignation in 2013. But, is Hillary Clinton the best person to replace Barack Obama as the presumptive nominee for the Democratic Party?
Many commentators are already saying that she has the experience and the desire to seek the nomination for President of the United States. Joseph Farivar, a businessman from Los Angeles, California, feels that Hillary Clinton represents the Democratic Party's best chance of victory in the 2016 presidential election. She has experience both as a candidate for the presidency and in a number of other offices (including senator and secretary of state). Beyond that, she is also the popular pick of many in the Democratic Party. She has name recognition and plenty of clout when it comes to both the party and the country.
Joseph Farivar recognizes that there are going to be contenders within the Democratic Party and eventually from the GOP, but he feels as though Hillary Clinton offers Democrats the best chance at victory in the presidential election. She also brings the novelty factor in that she would be the first woman to hold America's highest office in the nearly 240-year history of the nation. She certainly seems primed both for the Democratic Party's nomination and the potential presidency even though there is still some time before even preliminary discussions start taking place.
