How to Make a Plugin Not Appear in a WordPress Dashboard

    • 1). Sign in to your WordPress site, and click on "Add New" under "Plugins." Type "Adminimize" into the search box.

    • 2). Click "Install Now" next to the plugin, then click on "Activate." Scroll down to the "Settings" field and click on "Adminimize."

    • 3). Scroll-down to the "Menu Options" column.

    • 4). Check the box next to each plugin you want to remove from the admin dashboard for each specific user type. For example, if you wanted to hide the "Adminimize" plugin from editors, authors and contributors, check the box next to "Adminimize" beneath "Authors," "Editors" and "Contributors."

    • 5). Click on "Update Options" to save the changes. The selected plugins will now be hidden from the specific user roles.
