Tonight at 9:00 pm EDT on HBO pay-per-view (US), BoxNation (UK), and other channels around the world, Manny Pacquiao will face Timothy Bradley in a rematch of their stunning 2012 controversy, as Pacquiao looks to regain the WBO welterweight title, and Bradley looks to prove he really is better than the legendary Filipino.
Manny Pacquiao regained the WBO Welterweight Championship on Saturday night in Las Vegas, capturing a unanimous decision over the previously unbeaten Timothy Bradley Jr. at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nev.
Pacquiao (56-5, 38 KO) avenged a hotly disputed loss to Bradley in their first fight, nearly two years ago, taking over in the second half to capture a comfortable points victory. Scores were 116-112, 116-112 and 118-110 for Pacquiao.
Both fighters start jabbing, and exchange body shots early. Bradley tags Pacquiao with a clean straight right to the chin. He's very busy with his jab early. The crowd is going crazy for everything Pac throws, but there's not much landing for him. Bradley seals the round with a solid right hand and a couple of body shots. 10-9 Bradley.
