How to Remove Items From Between the Drums in a Kenmore Front-Loading Washer
- 1). Move your Kenmore front-loading washer away from the wall so that you can unplug the electrical outlet.
- 2). Remove the the two screws on the top cover using a screwdriver. Set aside the top panel.
- 3). Use a flathead screwdriver to pry the back panel from the two tabs the connect it the top. Pull back the back panel.
- 4). Press down tightly or use the screwdriver to loose the tabs holding the inner tub in place. With the tub loose, remove the agitator cap.
- 5). Use a socket wrench to remove the agitator nut. Reach inside the tub, carefully, and remove the agitator. The drum will then be fully exposed.
- 6). Remove any items that were stuck between the agitator and the drum. Replace the agitator nut and tighten it with the socket wrench.
- 7). Replace the cap, and then push the tub back into place. Lift and then push the back panel back into place. Screw the top panel back onto the unit.
