    Sequined Ribbon Necklace

    • 1). Thread a needle with silver thread. Place seed beads onto a paper plate. Pour sequins onto another paper plate.

    • 2). Pick up a sequin with the needle. Then poke the needle through a silver seed bead to thread it on the thread also. Sew them 1/2 inch from one end of a 36-inch length of metallic ribbon by bringing the needle up from one side, into the middle of the sequin, then down in the middle of the sequin into the back side again. The seed bead will keep the sequin in place on the ribbon.

    • 3). Pick up another sequin and seed bead and sew them 1/2 inch from the other sequin. Continue sewing the sequins across the length of the ribbon until you reach 1/2 inch from the other end.

    • 4). Sew the two ends of the ribbon together by overlapping the ends by 1/4 inch. Sew another sequin onto the overlapped part to hide it.

    Sequined T-Shirt Necklace

    • 1). Cut the hem off a cotton t-shirt with a sharp pair of scissors.

    • 2). Cover 1 inch of one side of the fabric with tacky craft glue. The glue should cover the fabric evenly. Wet a small sponge.

    • 3). Pick up a few sequins by wetting your finger on the sponge, then touching the sequins. Place the sequins on the glue, and they will come off your finger onto the glue. Cover the glued surface with sequins.

    • 4). Repeat Step 3 for the rest of the necklace until the fabric is covered.
