How to Write a Customer Testimonial for Plumbing Services
- 1). Find out the name of the plumber and the name of the business. Make sure you get the name business name correct, including its spelling.
- 2). Know exactly what job the plumber did. Do not just say, "He fixed a leak." Be precise. Was it a kitchen sink, a bathroom sink, a bathtub faucet? Did he install a water heater? If so, was it gas, or electric? Was it a 40-gallon tank or an 80-gallon tank? Did he snake a drain, or replace a stack? If you are unsure of what the problem was, ask the plumber before and after the job is complete. Have him walk you through the process.
- 3). Include the proficiency of the job. Know whether the job was finished or the problem corrected when the plumber leaves.
- 4). Include neatness, punctuality and prompt response. Did the plumber answer your original call? Did she call back in a prompt manner? Did she leave a mess in your home? Did the finished product look professional, or amateurish?
- 5). Include the price. Was it a fair price? This may entail a bit of research on your part, but a quick check on a search engine such as Google will give you comparable estimates.
- 6). Make sure all of your facts are correct. Double-check that you have the correct name of the plumber, the exact job that he or she performed and the price. A customer testimonial loses all credibility if the facts are incorrect.
- 7). Include whether you would recommend this plumber or not, and why.
- 8). Follow this example to craft your testimonial using your own information: "I called John Smith Plumbing and Heating to repair a water heater leak in my basement. John returned my phone call promptly, and arrived when he said he would. He offered a free estimate for the job, and explained my options. He fixed the problem then and there, and was precise, professional, thorough and neat. The price he quoted me was fair, and there were no hidden costs or fees. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend John Smith as a plumber, and will call him again in the future."
- 9). Find out the email or address of the business and send the testimonial to the company.
