Controlling Your Anxiety
This is not as easy to achieve as you may think.
What works for you as an individual may not work for another.
Here are some things I have seen work very successfully.
Acceptance As simple as that sounds it not simple to do.
Focus on what brought about the anxiety, not the fear and stress that you feel because of it.
Accept the fact that things got to you this time.
Look at the caused.
If you stay focused on the cause of the anxiety, you will find a way to take control.
Anxiety itself can not harm you if you don't allow the fear if encourages to take over.
Every journey starts with a single step is much beloved phrase and so true when you are trying to gain control of anxiety.
Force yourself to accept what happened, and you will begin to relax.
Never Stop Trying You probably won't succeed the first time you try to regain control of your anxieties.
Just don't give up trying! I bet your mother can tell you stories about the number of times you tried before you managed to walk the length of a room.
You didn't give up then, and you can't give up now.
Each time you try, your mind begins to accept that anxiety isn't the worst thing in life.
Before you are really aware of the fact, you will have put your mind in a state that will not allow anxiety to enter into your life for all but the briefest of times.
