Single Tasks

• If you are interested in performing a single task with VBA Macros there are free online tutorials provided by Microsoft and others. Examples and instructions for most common tasks can be found from a number of online sources. Books like OReilly's "Writing Excel Macros," "Writing Word Macros" or Wiley Publishing's "Excel VBA Programming For Dummies" will allow you to learn what you need to know, when you need to know it and will provide help if you run into problems.
  
  

Multiple Tasks

• If you need to perform multiple tasks or occasionally need to perform simple tasks involving VBA Macros a book or self-paced learning CD might be your best option.
  
  

Coursework

• If you will use VBA Macros on a daily basis and would like a full course, there are options that range from two-day seminars to full courses. There are in-class as well as self-paced online options. Nearly all courses focus on a specific application such as VBA for Excel or VBA for Access.
