Yarnell Hill Fire - 2013
If you'd like to submit your photos of an Arizona wildfire, here is how you do it.
In June 2013 the Yarnell Hill Wildfire became the worst fire incident recorded in Arizona's history. It wasn't that it burned the most acres (the Wallow Fire in 2011 burned 538,000 acres), but rather that it claimed the most lives. Nineteen brave firefighters from Prescott's Granite Mountain Hot Shots lost their lives in the Yarnell Hill fire.
The Yarnell Hill Fire started on June 28, 2013, caused by lightning.
