How to Clean White Satin Shoes
- 1). Remove any surface dirt or particles from the shoes with your hand. Don't forget the soles.
- 2). Fill a sink or bucket with cold water and add a mild detergent such as Woolite. Follow the directions on the package to ensure you use the proper amount of detergent.
- 3). Agitate the water and detergent to make foam.
- 4). Soak the shoes in the cold water and detergent mixture for three to five minutes.
- 5). If the stain has set in, rub the stain gently with your fingertips or a soft cloth. Scrub the stain softly in a circular motion.
- 6). Rinse the shoes thoroughly under cold water to remove all traces of detergent.
- 7). Towel off any excess moisture using a patting motion, and allow the shoes to air dry. Never wring dry any part of the satin, as this will lead to wrinkles.
