Anti Yeast Diet Foods - Food Is Your Best Medicine and Supplements Are Supplements
Remember that food is your best medicine and supplements are just supplements.
They are meant to add or supplement your food.
I find when my diet is too restrictive that I tend to want to cheat.
When I say restrictive I don't mean Candida no-no's, but rather a limited selection of permissible foods.
I have since read lots of books, many of which can be found at, or ordered from your local library.
These books have given me even more ideas of what I can eat, as well as some great recipes that help keep the diet from getting too boring.
As far as your supplements go, I would encourage you to add probiotics - preferably one that is refrigerated and that contains a variety of strains of good bacteria - and to add digestive enzymes.
It is important for you to move the food through your system in order for you to assimilate the nutrients in your food better, so that you can limit its time in your gut, the place where undigested food rots and feeds the yeast.
Also, when you are done with the caprylic acid, or when you no longer experience die-off or feel that you are making progress, then try switching to a different antifungal as it's a good thing to rotate these.
I have been on caprylic acid, black walnut, pumpkin seed, and pau d'arco for several months now and recently had muscle testing that indicated me no longer needing those.
I had a feeling it was time to change as I wasn't experiencing die off.
However, I tested strongly for colostrums and a homeopathic Candida remedy.
And while I had mild die-off with these two antifungals, I have noticed a difference in how I feel and my bowel movements.
