Jr. Golf Camps in Wisconsin

      Wisconsin is a golfer's playground with more than 500 golf courses to choose from, including regular PGA tour stop Whistling Straits.

      Golf enthusiasts often encourage their children to participate in the sport to create structure, discipline and advocate confidence and sportsmanship. Several junior golf camps throughout Wisconsin open their doors each summer to welcome a new crop of youth golfers.

    Nike Golf Camp

      Nike offers a junior overnight camp in Lake Geneva through July and August.

      This four-day coed camp for golfers age 10 to 18 focuses on all skill levels from beginner to advanced and includes instruction on every aspect of the game from driving and putting to club selection.

      Overnight sessions cost $1,250 and include instruction, meals, prizes, accommodations and other activities such as hiking and swimming.

      Extended day sessions (9 a.m. to 9 p.m.) cost $1,150 and feature the same benefits as the overnight session minus the cost of a hotel room and breakfast.

    FCA Golf Camps

      FCA, or Fellowship of Christian Athletes, golf camps provide a combination of spirituality and golf instruction not typically found at other junior golf camps.

      This four-day coed camp is for ages 12 to 18 and is usually held midsummer. Cost typically runs around $625 to $700 and includes professional instruction, meals, speakers, housing, gifts as well as Bible study classes.

    Silver Sands Golf

    • Silver Sands Golf camps, which are endorsed by the Wisconsin PGA, the PGA of America and the National Golf Foundation, are held in Lake Geneva.

      This six-day coed camp costs $999 and includes meals, lodging, six hours of daily instruction as well as daily tournaments. Campers also receive a notebook, prizes and individual swing analysis. There is a commuter option for $699 that includes all of the same benefits of the overnight camp minus the lodging.

      This camp runs weekly from June through July.
