You don't have to spend a lot of money to make a friend or loved one feel pampered. Sometimes, something small can be very meaningful to a stressed out friend. Let your friend know that she deserves to be pampered too. If you can't afford to send her to the spa, help her unwind in her own home. - Scented lotion is a frivolous purchase that not many people buy for themselves. Buy your friend a new bottle of her favorite lotion and a matching bubble bath or shower gel and a loofah. Throw your gifts into a cute drawstring bag or basket.
- A fragrant candle can be a perfect way to help unwind while you're soaking in a hot bubble bath. Gift your friend with a sweetly scented candle and nice holder. Some relaxing smells are lavender, vanilla, orange or apple cinnamon. Tie a pretty bow around your candle or put in a small gift bag.
- A pair of snuggly slippers or a comfortable throw blanket are ideas for a friend that likes to relax. Fuzzy socks, a flannel robe or a cotton pajama set are things she can wear when it's been a long, tiring day and she needs to relax.
- Gift a tea drinking friend with a special box of tea, some cookies and a new mug. Drinking tea is a wonderful way to relax and doesn't cost very much at all. Throw in some flavored honey or a tea infuser ball to accompany the gift.
- Spoil your friend with a plush, nice towel. Even if you can only afford one, it's a luxury that she'll enjoy having. Buy a matching washcloth for a nice set, and include a scented bar of soap for an indulgent present she'll love using after a long soak in the tub or hot shower.
