The Business of Weight Loss
If personal health were a business then most people would be bankrupt, broke or struggling.
If you approach your business or work in a cavalier manor without a systematic approach you will be doomed to fail! Consider your health and weight as a business.
If you have a plan and a clear goal and a means of measuring your progress, you are much more likely to succeed.
When you know what works for you and what doesn't then you can quickly identify it when you are off track.
But..
..
...
I hear you say, our lives shouldn't have to be regulated so much and it just isn't fair.
Your right, it isn't fair.
It's not fair at all.
The shops and café's and restaurants are full of tempting combinations of sugar, fat and salt, most of which are making us fat and unhealthy.
I'm not suggesting you become a fanatical eater and planner, but if you want a result you are going to have to be fairly strict with yourself.
You can of course have some time out.
Enjoy a takeaway or a meal out, but keep your goal in the back of your mind.
If you completely fall off the wagon, just forgive yourself and get started again.
Remember to set yourself achievable weight loss goals.
Maybe a dress size or trouser size at a time.
Keep your end goal in mind but set milestones of weight for yourself along the way.
You may be able to achieve fast weight loss for a special function, but there is usually a price to pay.
Rebound weight gain will see you in a worse place than where you started.
Treat your weight loss as a marathon - I don't mean a long grueling painful event- rather than a sprint.
Do this and you will be less stressed, and you will create a new healthy lifestyle for yourself.
Know what you want Take some time to decide the exact weight you wish to achieve.
It may appear obvious, you may wish to be the weight you were when you were younger, or like a friend or someone famous.
But it may be too much of a stretch.
You may find you are happier at a weight at which you feel more energetic and healthier.
you will then project a more vibrant and sexy image to the world.
Stay healthy & have fun.
