How to Setup a "Read With Me" DVD
- 1). Remove the TRY ME pull-tab at the back of the controller by pulling it out.
- 2). Insert the Set-Up DVD into your DVD player and turn DVD player off.
- 3). Set the switch at the back of the controller to the desired setting. The placement of the switch should correspond with the room your game is being played in. The controller will be labeled for you to choose which setting you desire.
- 4). Turn your controller on by pushing in the "ON" button on the front of it.
- 5). Remove the front cover of your controller with a Phillips screwdriver. Place the controller on a flat surface approximately three inches from your DVD player's remote control. The front end of the remote control should be facing the front end of the controller. Your remote control should also be on a flat surface.
- 6). Follow the instructions from your audio controller to push the correct buttons that link the remote with the controller. Your controller will give you step-by-step instructions with an automated voice that directs you which buttons to push on your DVD remote.
- 7). Screw the cover back on your controller after you've pushed all the required buttons. (See Reference 1)
- 8). Turn your DVD player back on. Using the DVD remote controller select "Test Your Controller" from the main menu that shows up once the Set-Up DVD begins to play.
- 9). Follow the "Test Your Controller" instructions, to ensure you have properly set up your controller. If all the buttons light up according to the instructions, set up is correct.

Insert your Read With Me DVD and push play. Give your child the controller to interact with the story being told on your TV.
