    • 1). Make changes to multiple slides in one presentation by changing the slide master. Go to the "View" menu. Point to "Master" and select "Slide Master." Click on the thumbnail of the slide master that you want to edit. Make your desired changes, such as adding a footer or logo that will appear on all the slides that use this master. Click "Close Master View" and save the presentation.

    • 2). Add a summary slide that summarizes important points from your presentation. Go to the "View" menu and select "Slide Sorter." Press and hold the "Ctrl" key. Click on each slide from which you want to add the title to the summary slide. Go to the "View" menu. Point to "Toolbars" and select "Slide Sorter" to open the "Slide Sorter" toolbar. Click "Summary Slide" on the "Slide Sorter" toolbar to add the summary slide to your presentation.

    • 3). Add hyperlinks to slides. Select the text to which you want to add a link. Click the "Insert Hyperlink" button on the toolbar. Select the type of location to which you want to link, such as another slide in the same presentation, another file on your computer or a website. Enter the location and click "OK."

    • 4). Add a chart to a slide. Go to the "Insert" menu and select "Chart" to open a data sheet. Enter the data you want to use to make the chart. Click outside of the chart area to close the data sheet and return to the slide.

    • 5). Animate a chart. Click on the chart to select it. Go to the "Slide Show" menu and select "Custom Animation." Select "Add Effect" in the "Custom Animation" task pane. Select the type of animation that you want to use. Click the arrow next to the animation you selected in the "Custom Animation" task pane. Select "Effect Options." Go to the "Chart Animation" tab of the "Effect Options" dialog box. Select an option in the "Group Chart" list to animate individual elements of the chart one at a time.
