Microsoft Office 2007 Compatibility With Vista
- Microsoft Office 2007 is compatible with the Microsoft Windows XP operating system with Service Pack 2 or any other later operating system, including Windows Vista. Compatibility issues only occur when certain specifications of the Windows Vista computer conflict with the system requirements to run Microsoft Office 2007.
- The Vista computer must meet certain hardware requirements if attempting to run Office 2007. The computer must have at least a 500-megahertz processor, 256 megabytes of RAM, 1.5 gigabytes of hard disk space and a CD or DVD drive. Some Microsoft Office 2007 editions may require up to 3 gigabytes of available hard disk space.
- Certain features and programs may not available, depending on your processor. Internet Fax, the "Send to OneNote 2007" print driver, and Groove Folder Synchronization, is not compatible with 64-bit computers.
