Miniature golf, also known as putt-putt or mini-golf, is a popular recreational activity for people of all ages. It's a much smaller version of traditional golf, and may be played inside or out. Like golf, it is typically played on an 18-hole course, with obstacles at each hole. There are a variety of miniature golf courses in and around Phoenix, Arizona. - Castles N' Coasters has four miniature golf courses. According to its website, the center's courses have fountains, replicas of world renowned landmarks and green landscapes. There are no height requirements for miniature golf and children under the age of 5 may play free with an accompanying paying adult.
In addition to miniature golf, Castles N' Coasters also has roller coasters like the 120-foot Sky Dive, the Patriot and Desert Storm. Splashdown is a log ride featuring a Polynesian village, African elephants and a logging town called Splash Down Falls.
Castles N' Coasters also has a quarter-mile go-kart track, bumper boats and bumper cars. There's an old-fashioned carousel featuring 60 horses and other animals. The center has more than 18,000 square feet of arcade space with more than 300 games, including pinball, air hockey, carnival games and more.

According to the company website, Mini Golf Paradise features decorations and obstacles modeled after elephants, zebras, tigers, hippos, rhinos, gorillas and other jungle animals. According to the website, the center was voted "Best Miniature Golf in Phoenix" in 2006 by Phoenix New Times.
Mini Golf Paradise offers all-inclusive birthday party packages that include a round of golf, pizza, drinks, goodie bags, invitations and thank-you notes, and a private room for the party. The course is also available for group outings, such as family gatherings, school trips, corporate team-building events and church outings.

funindoor.com - According to its website, Fiddlesticks Family Fun Park in nearby Tempe was voted the "Best Miniature Golf" in 2008 by Phoenix New Times. The center has two 18-hole courses, designed for players of all abilities.
Fiddlesticks Family Fun Park also has a 15-acre lighted driving range with natural grass and mat tee stations, a misted tee structure and PGA help.
Drivers who are 18 years of age with a driver's license and are at least 56 inches tall can race the go-karts. Passengers must be a minimum of 40 inches tall. Smaller drivers may want to try the rookie go-kart track. Drivers interested in the bumper boats need to be at least 44 inches tall, and passengers must also meet the 40-inch height requirement.
Other activities include the batting cages, with both softball and baseball pitches, and an interactive arcade.
