Easy Easter Crafts to Make

    Jingle Bunny Laces

    • Make cute jingle bunny faces for kids to wear on their feet. Cut two bunny heads -- a circle with two long ears attached -- from white felt. Use craft pens to draw in features such as bunny eyes and whiskers. Cut two small vertical slits, just long enough to thread a lace through, in the center of each face where the bunny's nose should be. Thread a jingle bell into the center of a shoe lace, then put the lace through the two slits so the bell sits as the bunny's nose. Repeat with the second bunny, then place the "laced" bunnies on top of the child's shoes and lace them up as normal.

    Easter Basket

    • Turn plain cupcakes into cute edible Easter baskets that are simple enough for even young children to make. Cover the center of the top of each cupcake with a thick layer of ready-made frosting. Press miniature chocolate eggs into the frosting to create a "basket of Easter eggs." Bend a red liquorice stick and push the ends inside the cupcake to create a handle for your basket. Tie a little ribbon bow onto each handle.

    Egg Flowers

    • Create cute flowers to present boiled eggs for Easter breakfast. Draw a large flower outline on a piece of colored card stock and cut it out with scissors. Place an egg cup in the center of the flower, with the cup facing down onto the card, and draw round it. Cut out the circle you have drawn. Paint a hard boiled egg in a color to match your card flower using non-toxic craft paint. Balance the flower on top of the egg cup and place the painted egg in the center.

    Pom Pom Chicks

    • Turn an old toilet paper tube into a sweet Easter chick. Cut the toilet roll holder in half with craft scissors. Cover it with yellow tissue paper and glue in place with craft glue. Cut two wing shapes from yellow card stock and glue on each side of the tube. Glue a yellow pom pom on the top of the tube for a head. Stick on two self-adhesive googly eyes, available from craft and toy stores. Finally, cut a small triangle of orange card stock and glue on as a beak.
