How to Connect My Wireless Guitar From Rock Band to Guitar Hero
- 1). Check that the Xbox 360 cables are properly connected to your television and that both are plugged into your wall power outlets.
- 2). Turn on your Xbox 360 console by pushing the "On" button next to the USB ports, or by pushing the "Guide" button, found between the "Start" and "Select" buttons on your Xbox 360 controller, or on your "Rock Band" guitar peripheral.
- 3). Push the white or silver "Open/Eject" button found next to your console's disc tray to open the tray, and place the Guitar Hero video game disc into the tray. Close the tray by pushing the "Open/Eject" button again.
- 4). Turn on your television, and change it to the proper channel your Xbox 360 cables are connected to.
- 5). Wait while the "Guitar Hero" video game loads. You will know it is done loading when the Start menu appears.
- 6). Select a player profile when the game asks if you'd like to Sign In; if you don't have a profile then you can either select "Cancel" or create one.
- 7). Choose from the list of game modes, like Career or Quickplay, to play the "Guitar Hero" game.

- 2). Plug in the "Rock Band" wireless guitar dongle (included with peripheral) into one of the USB ports found at the opposite side of the disc entrance.
- 3). Turn on your PS3 console by pushing the "On" button next to the disc tray or by pushing the "Home" button, found between the "Start" and "Select" buttons on your PS3 controller, or on your "Rock Band" guitar peripheral.
- 4). Turn on the "Rock Band" wireless guitar peripheral. You may have to sync the peripheral with the dongle. To do this hold the "Sync" button on the dongle until the "Red" button on your peripheral stops blinking.
- 5). Slide the "Guitar Hero" video game disc into the disc entrance.
- 6). Wait while the "Guitar Hero" video game loads. You will know it is done loading when the Start menu appears.

- 7). Choose from the list of game modes, like Career or Quickplay, to play the "Guitar Hero" game. Note that with the PS2 you must have a memory card properly inserted into one of the Memory Card slots to save and/or load game data.
