How to Upload Music to an iPhone From the Library
- 1). Launch iTunes. Connect your iPhone to your computer using the USB cable that came with the device.
- 2). Click to select the name of your iPhone that appears beneath Devices on the left side of the iTunes program window.
- 3). Select the Music tab on the right side of the iTunes program window. Click to place a check mark to the left of "Sync Music."
- 4). Click the radio button beside "Entire Music Library" to transfer all tracks from the library to your iPhone. Click the radio button beside "Selected Playlists, Albums, Artists and Genres" to upload only selected tracks from the library to your iPhone. If you choose the second option, you can select the tracks that you want to upload by clicking the appropriate check box beside the song, album or playlist in the iTunes music library.
- 5). Click "Apply" in the lower-right corner of the program window to upload the songs you selected from the music library to your iPhone.
- 6). Wait for the iTunes status window at the top of the main program window: "iPhone sync complete. OK to disconnect."
- 7). Click the "Eject" button to the right of the name of your iPhone beneath Devices. Disconnect your iPhone from the computer.
